Four rooms · one calm app
Kala means fortress in Albanian and time in Sanskrit. The app is both: a calm planner for your days and a private place for the things that matter.
Capture anything, plan it on a day, check it off. Routines, checklists, a weekly review and stats that show what you really did.
Photos of your IDs, contracts and insurance cards in one vault, behind a password — and Face ID or your fingerprint on the phone. It locks itself when you leave.
Pick a nickname and invite people by nickname, email or contacts. Messages vanish 15, 30 or 60 seconds after they are read; photos open once.
Create a company, invite colleagues by email and make groups. Share a note or a task — it lands in their Kala only when they accept.

Technology
Kala runs on Google Firebase in the EU. Here is the journey of one chat message — and an honest list of what Kala can and cannot see.
Transparency
The shortest list we could make. If it is not on this table, we do not collect it.
| WHAT | WHO CAN SEE IT |
|---|---|
| Your tasks, notes and library | You only — never administrators |
| Your documents | You only — never administrators |
| Chat messages and photos | The people in the chat (reports aside) |
| Your phone number | Never asked |
| Your contacts | Read on your phone, never uploaded |
| Name, email, sign-in method | Yes — to run your account |
| Counts such as tasks per day | Yes — totals, not content |
Kala is not end-to-end encrypted: data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google, and security rules limit who can read it. We say it plainly so you can decide what to keep here.

Yes. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no ads.
No. You register with an email address or your Google account, and in chats you use a nickname.
No. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Google Firebase, and security rules limit who can read it. Administrators see counts, not content, and we do not read your messages — except the latest texts of a person that someone reports.
Only you. Kala administrators can see your name, email, sign-in method and counts such as tasks per day — never the content of your tasks, notes, library, documents or note photos.
In Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging), in European regions (eur3 and europe-west1).
On the phone, Kala blocks screenshots in chats. In the browser it hides the chat when you switch away and blocks printing, as far as a browser allows.
Yes. The phone app opens and works without internet, and your changes sync when you are back online.
Create a company, invite colleagues by email and make groups. When you share a note or a task, the receiver gets an email and decides whether to accept; only then does a copy appear in their Kala.
In the app: Settings → Delete account. It immediately deletes your profile, all your data and your sign-in account. You can also ask by email — see the delete-account page.
English and Italiano. The language follows your device, and you can change it in Settings → Language.
